The Monito concept is Moonen’s response to requests for the largest Caribbean without going over 500 GT and provides a standard of comfort and quality unrivalled in its price range and gross tonnage level. You can partner with the interior designer of your choice in order to ensure a style all of your own. Designed to Lloyds and MCA, this fast displacement motoryacht benefits from our ‘enhanced length principle’ concept and an efficient round bilge hull built in high tensile steel. This allows for a top speed of 18.5 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
The Monito’s economic fuel consumption offers a transatlantic range of 3900nm at 11 knots while carrying just 55,000 litres. This is coupled with impressive seaworthiness and seagoing qualities, including stabilization under way and at anchor, and Moonen’s renowned noise and vibration attenuation. Her limited draught ensures that the Monito can easily reach idyllic tropical waters off limits to many vessels. And the fact that the yacht is just under 500 GT offers clear benefits for operational efficiency and cost of ownership.
The stern area can be customised to your interpretation of the beach club life, with lots of open spaces and loose furniture. The swim platform can be arranged in several ways, while the multifunctional transom space can be transformed into a spa, gym or a place for deep relaxation. The forepeak features a recessed tender bay with lifting platform, a storage solution that saves lots of gross tonnage to invest in luxury areas. Our R&D wizards are working on ways to use the tender bay as a saltwater pool. Add in the sun deck and the Monito has 350m² of exterior teak deck areas plus the option to install four external bars.
The interior is equally impressive, with 60m² set aside for the full-beam main deck master, including two bathrooms, walk-in closet and private study. The lower deck houses four VIPs, or five guest cabins on yachts that will be chartered a lot. There’s also a captain’s cabin on the bridge deck and crew cabins for eight on the lower deck.
Another layout version accommodates 12 guests in six suites and 11 crew members in six cabins. Regardless of the layout, privacy is assured by a smart deployment of dedicated crew areas and stairs. The professional 22m² galley features a food lift running between the main and bridge decks.
