Exploring Croatia With Rachit Motani

A Croatian holiday gives you the opportunity to explore historic cities and ancient ruins, secluded anchorages and traditional fishing villages, all in a landscape that is one of the most beautiful in Europe!  With a glamorous coastline of stunning islands, ancient walled ports and pristine interior wildernesses offering a range of sights and activities, Croatia has much to charm any traveler. Set sail on the Adriatic Sea from Split, Dubrovnik or Opatija and stop off at Croatia’s beautiful islands on a relaxing sailing holiday. There’s plenty of time to lounge out on deck in the sun and at each stop explore charming ports, medieval fortresses, green pine forests, unspoiled inland lakes and secluded beaches. In Croatia one has a choice to opt for a fully guided or semi-independent group tour that are also on offer.

From island hopping among Croatia’s jewels of the Adriatic Sea to flopping on a sun lounger at one of the country’s superb hotels or taking a city break in Split or Dubrovnik, Croatia holidays offer it all. The weather in Croatia is typically Mediterranean, with hot summer days, pleasantly warm springs and autumns, and cooler, wetter winters – it’s lush and green for a reason! There are plenty of events happening around beautiful Croatia, from relaxing on the golden beaches to dancing the night away there’s something for everyone in Croatia.

If you are looking at renting yachts and trying out their amazing water sports, it is advisable to pre-book. Charter a yacht for the day [8 hours] and go snorkeling, fishing, or cliff jumping! Flyboarding is a must try while you are in Croatia. It takes around 10 minutes to get accustomed to the gear and voila! You are flying like a dolphin on water.  Online communication is easy and the Croatians are a chilled out, friendly and helpful bunch! You are sure to get more than what you expected from them. They are not overbearing with their safety and security measures and you have a lot of freedom to do what you want, have a real adventure and truly explore! Take in the best of Croatia at their local cafes which are the coolest. We strongly recommend you feast only on the catch of the day, served hot and fresh, you haven’t tasted better fish than the local catch in Croatia.

Our friend Rachit Motani recently visited Croatia for the Ultra Music Festival. He shares one of his most memorable experiences in pictures with us. We thank him for his contribution!
